From growth to change, from launches to surprising comebacks. 2025 was all about movement for Tapibel. The market evolved rapidly, but our core values remained firmly in place: quality, innovation and customer focus. We look back on the past year.
Our presence in Europe continues to grow. Countries such as the Netherlands, Spain, Germany and Italy were once again key markets this year. We also achieved good results in the contract market, supported by several strong projects and continued demand for reliable, high-performance solutions.
What stands out? The customer relationship is evolving. Tapibel is increasingly seen as a full-service provider, and expectations regarding speed and flexibility have risen sharply. The market demands short lead times, while transporting carpet is becoming increasingly complex and expensive. This is a challenge that we, as producers, are actively and decisively addressing.
One of the biggest successes of 2025 was undoubtedly the launch of Elemental Design Collections, a budget-friendly range that immediately found its place in both the project market and retail. Thanks to its strong price-quality ratio and smart aesthetics, the collection struck a chord with a wide audience.
In addition, established collections also performed strongly. Diplomat, for example, showed remarkable growth. Available in both tile and broadloom, the collection even overtook several long-standing favourites in our Top 10 Tapibel collections. Proof that reliability and style continue to go hand in hand.
We can be proud of our productive output: with around 2 million m² of carpet produced, Tapibel remains a stable player in a challenging market. In 2025, we welcomed more than 10 new customers and created many valuable customer contacts, including 12 customer visits and over 50 contact moments during Flanders Flooring Days.
In both the residential and contract markets, we recorded modest growth despite ongoing market pressures.
One project that truly stood out in 2025 was our contribution to T121 in Qatar. We supplied 7000 m² of Soundblock Hexagon Art, a technically demanding yet visually striking product. The end result spoke for itself and confirmed our position as an innovative carpet partner for complex international projects.
For our sales team, the introduction of the Signature Collections and Elemental Design Collections at the fair was the highlight of the year. Not only the launch itself, but also the process leading up to it – from development to presentation – demonstrated the strength of collaboration and innovation within our internal teams.
What feedback did we hear most often this year? Positive signals about our service, quality and continuous product development. This is no coincidence. We consciously invest in refining our processes and actively listen to our customers’ needs. The result is long-term relationships built on mutual trust.
The trends observed in 2025 are expected to continue into 2026. Customers are increasingly demanding smaller production runs, greater individualisation and shorter lead times. Tapibel is ready for this next step, with a flexible production system, a customer-oriented team and a clear vision centred on quality and innovation.
To all our customers, thank you for the pleasant cooperation over the past year.
In 2026, we remain fully committed to quality, service and reliability.
We wish you a successful and prosperous New Year!
