Founded in 1991, KOMAT has become a trusted name in the Portuguese interior design world. What began as a business focused on office furnishings and materials has grown into a multidisciplinary company with seven specialised departments. Today, they manage both renovation and new-build projects from start to finish, from the first concept to the final finishing touches.

Daniela vividly recalls one project, a luxury hotel in the Algarve, for which every detail had to be bespoke, and the deadline was looming.
“The design took a while to finalise, and once it was approved, we had to act fast. Tapibel came through. They flew the carpets in so we could meet the deadline.”
