The Flooring Innovation Awards have been the leading carpet industry awards since 2018. There were ten categories this year, in which the jury selected four ‘category winners’ each time. Tapibel’s sustainable Diamond Art collection was selected in the ‘Design carpets’ category. We had already received an official certificate as ‘Category Winner’. Needless to say, we are very proud of that.
The best candidate from each category was announced at The Flooring Show in Harrogate on Saturday, 18 September.
Diamond Art in the spotlight
Diamond Art is part of our ecological modular design concept. It is the showpiece of our latest Econyl® Design collections. Shoreline, Artisan Tweed, and Urban Textures complete that sustainable line-up. Diamond Art combines a geometric design with a sleek concrete effect that draws your gaze to the floor. The trendy pastel colour palette gives any modern interior a cool and innovative look, whether in hotels, offices, or public spaces.
Our inspiration
Diamond Art’s green theme colour reinforces the connection with nature in commercial settings. It also highlights the increasing importance of ecological thinking and sustainability in soft floor coverings. Additional product features include improved acoustics, extra insulation, and excellent foot comfort. Diamond Art products allow interior designers to design creative floors and incorporate countless colour combinations into the end client’s interior.
The collection is available in 12 different colours. Choose a neutral colour to integrate the carpet into a striking design or let the carpet speak for itself with a striking shade. How about a soft green to bring nature inside?
Totally sustainable
We aim to make our carpet production sustainable, and we do this in different ways. For example, we use Ecofuse, a PVC-free adhesive based on PVB. We also use Greenbase – a modified backing consisting of 70% recyclable material – in our tiles.
Showstopper at Architect@Work
We exhibited our Diamond Art collection at Architect@Work in Rotterdam on 14 and 15 September. It is the pre-eminent event for interior design professionals looking for inspiration and trends. Interest was high and we received rave reviews from visitors.
